  I contacted Romans looking for a quick sale. They were prompt in arranging a valuation and by the end of the day had viewings lined up. The property sold within the first viewing and when negioating an offer, Charlie in particular was extremely helpful and excellent at communicating.

  Romans as a whole were very efficient in getting our property on the market. Photos and floor plans were created and approved quickly and the write-up of our property did a great job in selling its best features. The staff at Romans, especially Charles Rafferty, were very professional and reliable and I felt well informed at all times. They only contacted me when they had something useful or important to say and weren't intrusive. I have actually used Romans for selling my property, purchasing a new property and for my conveyancing. Contracts have not yet exchanged so I don't want to speak too soon, however, so far I am very pleased with my dealings with Romans and would recommend them to friends and family

  During our purchase through Romans, two specific members of the team stand out and showed a considerable level of excellent customer service, which is not often seen in this industry. Charles Rafferty was our initial contact and the first impressions were excellent. He was very punctual and consitently engaged a very professional manner throughout the many viewings we had. Always polite, courteous and willing to spend as much time as required during viewings. He also followed up our questions and enquiries, quickly and honestly. An excellent beginning to our experience and confidence. Another key member of the team was Nick Billson, who tirelessly met the timescales he stated and provided up-to-date information as accurately as it had been provided to him. I had dealt with Move Managers in the past and I can honestly say that I have been let down by them by not having returned phone calls or in one occassion not ever speaking to them personally. It was a real pleasure to deal with Nick however and never had problems getting in contact with him. If you do have dealings with Romans in the Basingstoke area, my advice is that you insist for both these members to be your contacts. Well done Charles and Nick.

  Excellent communication, especially dealing with some specific requests I had. Very efficient at sorting out some last minute difficulties to a satisfactorary conclusion. I certainly have the impression that Katherine is a dedicated hard working and committed member of staff. A real asset to the branch, well done - i wish my own staff at work were so professional and committed to doing a great job.

  Charles was excellent, we drove by the property to see if it suited our needs before arranging a viewing - Charles made a significant effort to come straight out to enable us to view was much appreciated as we were due to travel back to Cornwall later that day. All parts of the transaction went very smoothly with Romans' Nick as the purchase coordinator always phoning back promptly when he was not available to take our call. Branch manager Mark reinforced the overall professionalism by hand delivering the keys upon completion. Overall we were a delighted customer.

  When I decided to sell my house in Basingstoke I had heard Romans were good,but it wasn't until I used them that I found out just how good they were !!! Good is not the word, they were fantastic from day one. Informative, professional and did exactly what they said they would do. Nick and Giles are all a tribute to the company and got me moved quickly and for a great price. I would definitely recommend Romans to anyone in Basingstoke.

  Fromt start to Finsh romans was a pleasure to deal with throughout. The Staff there were great to deal with and no much was to much hassle. I orignially spoke to Adam who was great and even helped me with getting my morgagr by referring me to Flower. If your looking to Move or rent would reccommmend for great service....

  We just wanted to say a huge thanks to the team at Romans. Choosing a company to sell our home was a tough job, we had been told that Romans were aggressive and very pushy but we disagree! We found them all to be very passionate about what they do and this is why we were able to sell our house for the price we needed and buy our dream home - Thanks to Grant who advised us how to get our house ready for viewings and Giles who was fantastic at showing our buyers around and Gary who handled the offers and even helped us with offering on our new house- We would recommend all our friends to use Romans as they do what they say they will do!

  I have purchased and sold both residential and buy-to-let properties through Romans over the last ten years in and around the Camberley and Basingstoke areas. In all dealings I have found them to be responsive and professional. They pioneered the extended opening hours service in the region which was one of the key features that drew me to them in the early days. When working on a business basis as a BTL landlord outside of my usual day job, having access to my estate and lettings agent during the evening and weekend hours is essential. I have no hesitation in recommending them based on my experience over this extended time-frame and continue to work closely with the teams in Basingstoke and Camberley as a landlord and BTL property investor.
