    The reason I chose Romans was that the initial visit by Paul Westmoreland was so unlike the other agents I had to value the property. His demeanour was not that of a stereotypical estate agent - he was honest, professional and did not make any innuendo about other agents to reflect positively on Romans. In all, I felt very comfortable at that first stage of selling my home with Romans. I felt from Paul that the Bracknell office would handle the sale with me honestly, warts and all. From the time the property was placed on the market, Paul arranged for the whole sales team to visit at the same time to ensure that all received the correct information about the house and that there were no instances of chineses whispers; which you are bound to get when only one agent looks at the house and then passes the information on to their colleagues. All the agents were polite and again professional asking pertinent questions but above all willing to listen to me as the owner. Each and every time there was a viewing, I was contacted first to see if it was convenient. Every viewing was accompanied by an agent. What pleased me was that Romans knew and remembered all the details (unlike viewings that I endured through when trying to find a new home with other agents. Please read my other excellent review about Romans on buying a home). My house was sold in 3 WEEKS with only 3 VIEWINGS!!!! Thank you very much to Paul for his initial visit and knowing the market so well.

    Ryan was very knowledgeable about the current housing market and provided very useful information. He always conducted himself in a courteus and professional manner. i would gladly recommend him to my friends and family should the need arise.

    We live in France and as absent sellers we needed to be able to rely on our estate agents. Our agent was Paul Westmorland who was professional and courteous, he was available at all times and if he said he would call us back he did. He was able to put our mind at rest throughout this whole procedure. I have no hesitation in recommending Romans on the strength of Mr Westmorland's performance. Local area information for Bracknell

A bustling modern town with high levels of employment, Bracknell enjoys excellent amenities – from Coral Reef Water Park to John Nike Sports Centre – yet has acres of Forestry Commission woodland right on the doorstep, offering country walks and good pubs for lazy lunches. Many of the local schools perform above national targets, but of particular note is Ranelagh School – awarded an ‘Outstanding’ score by its most recent OFSTED report, it has been identified by the Annual Report from HMCI (Her Majesty’s Chief of Inspectors) for Schools as one of the most successful secondary schools in the country.

The popular family attractions of the Look Out Discovery Centre and Legoland are close at hand, and there’s a diverse arts scene too, with a packed programme of theatre, film and cultural events at South Hill Park. The town is also well-served by transport links: sandwiched conveniently between the M3 and M4, Bracknell is one of Berkshire’s most popular commuter hot spots, whilst London Waterloo is only 40 minutes away by train. Much of the property in Bracknell is modern, ranging from apartments to large detached family houses, and offers good value for money compared to other areas.
