Romans offer a friendly and professional service for landlords. My experience with them has always been positive and they work hard to find and vet suitable tenants. Special mention goes to Romans Agent Catherine Clarke who has always proved most helpful in arranging tenants.

The review above states it was for Romans which I consider 4 stars, but on a more personal note I would give 5 stars to the branches Assistant Manager, Chris Ward.Chris arranged our initial viewing, met us at the property on time, gave a friendly and informative viewing, and left us to make our own decision regarding the private rental of the property. When we returned with deposit and questions, Chris was again friendly and very helpful in getting answers to our questions, which were from the mundane to the complicated as this was our first private rental, but the process was made easy thanks to his manner and approach to customer service. We have gone back to Romans for our second private rental and the service is still as good as the first time.

Happily leave feedback for the Romans, Bracknell Office. Our lettings agent was Catherine Clarke. She was very helpful and friendly. She took the time to clearly explain all the charges involved in renting and what they were for. Also her and Sally Perchard were very good in keeping us informed of the progress of all the paperwork / requirements.Would recommend their office Thank you.

I have worked with the Romans team for 8 years now, things have improved over the years and the succesion planning of the staff helps, Martin went to manage the region with Kelly Luck picking up the branch.Sylvia at property management always does a terrific job and over the years there does seem more cohesion between the different departments. The staff tenure and development brings value and retains knowledge within Romans, I have been out of the UK for a lot of the last year, Romans have done a good job for me.

Local area information

A bustling modern town with high levels of employment, Bracknell enjoys excellent amenities – from Coral Reef Water Park to John Nike Sports Centre – yet has acres of Forestry Commission woodland right on the doorstep, offering country walks and good pubs for lazy lunches. Many of the local schools perform above national targets, but of particular note is Ranelagh School – awarded an ‘Outstanding’ score by its most recent OFSTED report, it has been identified by the Annual Report from HMCI (Her Majesty’s Chief of Inspectors) for Schools as one of the most successful secondary schools in the country.

The popular family attractions of the Look Out Discovery Centre and Legoland are close at hand, and there’s a diverse arts scene too, with a packed programme of theatre, film and cultural events at South Hill Park. The town is also well-served by transport links: sandwiched conveniently between the M3 and M4, Bracknell is one of Berkshire’s most popular commuter hot spots, whilst London Waterloo is only 40 minutes away by train. Much of the property in Bracknell is modern, ranging from apartments to large detached family houses, and offers good value for money compared to other areas.

Ofsted reports on the local area are available. Please see the following links for nursery schools, primary schools, or secondary schools. For a general overview please see ofsted.gov.uk.
