Will the General Election results affect your decision to move?

79% say that their intention to move will not be affected by the election result, according to Romans’ latest online poll – people’s lives go on and they’ll move when they need to.
 
Whether it will affect you or not housing is now at the forefront of the main parties’ political manifestos (still to be released) prior to the 2015 General Election. Increasing house prices and private rental prices have forced the issue to the front of political debates, alongside border control, the NHS, security, and employment.
 
Annual house building targets, support for first time buyers, mansion tax, garden cities and caps on rent increases are just some of the areas the parties are focusing on.
