Connaught Road, ReadingThere’s something for everyone at Romans’ final property auction of the year on 9th December at 1.30pm at the Green Park Conference Centre in Reading.

“Following the fantastic results achieved in our auctions throughout 2015, we’re expecting our final one to be just as popular” comments Simons Clayton, Romans’ Auctions Director. “We have a brilliant catalogue full of properties and developments in very sought-after areas with something for everyone.

“Lots include a modern apartment in Sunninghill, a variety of terraced properties in Tilehurst, Maidenhead and Bracknell, as well as several building plots with planning permission.”

Backing onto the River Wye in Bourne End on a no-through road is Claytons Meadow; a large building plot with planning permission for a pair of five bedroom detached dwellings. The highly desirable and scenic location will attract interest from builders and investors, and with a guide price of £800,000 the capital gain is an attractive proposition.

Lower Village Road, SunninghillAnother large project is a period terrace house on Connaught Road in Reading; the property requires extensive repair and is suitable for cash buyers only. With an enticing guide price of just £115,000 this house is sure to attract a lot of interest.

If you’re looking for a smaller project, a three bedroom detached house on Downsland Road in Basingstoke could be right up your street. “With a guide price of £260,000 and in need of some modernisation this property would make an ideal family home” says Simon.

Alternatively, for those owner occupiers who are looking to move in straight away or those looking for a buy-to-let investment, a modern two bedroom apartment on Lower Village Road in Sunninghill is available, as well as an attractive three bedroom end of terrace house on Littledale Close in Bracknell, with guide prices of £240,000 and £250,000, respectively.

Littledale Close, BracknellTwo Tilehurst properties are also going under the hammer; a two bedroom semi-detached house on Gipsy Lane and a two bedroom end of terrace house on Chichester Road, with guide prices of £190,000 and £170,000, respectively. Both properties are in extremely popular locations, and their proximity to the M4 and Tilehurst train station makes them ideal for investors as well as owner occupiers.

Other lots include two mixed use  buildings and a commercial property on the High Street in Aldershot, all with guide prices of £150,000; three maisonettes in Maidenhead located on Green Close, Collier Close and Aldebury Road, with guide prices of £210,000, £160,000, and £230,000, respectively; and a further building plot with permission for two semi-detached chalet style properties on Aldershot Road in Worplesdon with a guide price of £260,000.
