Romans Estate Agents

Romans on the way to Woodley!

The Romans Group has just announced the next stage in their expansion plans. February 2010 will herald the launch of their Woodley branch – although the area is far from new to them.

Romans Woodley BranchIn fact, operating from their other 15 offices across Berkshire, Surrey and North Hampshire, including the market leading branches in central Reading and Lower Earley, plus a Winnersh department, Romans already has a strong presence in the Woodley property market, for both sales and lettings. Now the company is preparing to consolidate their position, with builders already hard at work transforming the empty building on Loddon Bridge Road, formerly occupied by Stuarts Estate Agents, into an impressively refurbished, brand new Romans branch.

"As well as Stuarts, many other well known agents closed in Woodley during the recession," comments Peter Coles, Romans Managing Director for Residential Property. "So we are aiming to fill that gap and make a positive contribution to the local community. Not only will a derelict building cease to be a blot on the landscape, but we will be supporting local clubs and events, and becoming involved in the fabric of local life."

Peter confirms that there will be job opportunities at the new branch in the future, although the new team, most of whom are local to the area, is already in place. "We're always on the look-out for forward thinking people who want to develop their careers," he says. "In the meantime, for anyone considering a move into or out of the Woodley area in 2010, the new branch will be open for business and ready to help them!"
