Romans Group hosts sparkling reception
With a healthy sales performance, coupled with an extensive programme of investment, 2009 proved to be a successful trading year for the Romans Group.

So to begin 2010 in a positive vein, the company invited customers and suppliers from across the Group to a glittering Champagne Reception at Romans’ Head Office in Wokingham, to celebrate their achievements, which in the last 12 months included:
- Over 2,000 homes sold
- New branch opening in Caversham
- 80% sales success ratio in Romans Auctions
- £175 million of mortgage lending through flower IFA
- Over 2,700 properties managed by Romans Lettings
- romans.co.uk voted Best Estate Agency Website UK in the Daily Mail’s Residential Property Awards.
The Champagne Reception also shared Romans’ key message that the Group views the future with a strong sense of optimism, with 2010 looking set to deliver exciting new developments:
- Residential sales forecast to increase by 20%
- Opening of new branches in Woodley and Aldershot, and extensive refurbishment of existing offices
- Romans Surveyors to launch new service initiatives, including 'Your survey within five days or your money back' promise to customers
- £240 million of mortgage lending forecast through flower IFA
- Merger of Lennon and Boyer Planning under the Boyer brand – now in top 30 of UK planning consultancies.
"We’re looking forward to working together with our valued business partners in the next 12 months, and we’ll continue to invest in the company’s staff and infrastructure," commented Dale Norton, who founded the Romans Group in 1987. "We’ll also continue to harness new technologies, such as the installation of a sophisticated relationship management system which will integrate our customer databases. This investment in technology will play a key part in our strategies as we discover new ways of doing business."
