The main issue I had with the experience was that the staff were like Jekyll and Hyde. Most of the time they were very nice and helpful and sympathetic as we were going through a difficult move. Other times, they would speak to me in completely the opposite manner putting pressure on me and telling me I am at risk of losing the property. I understand there is a need to handle clients certain ways and apply pressure in certain ways but it really was like an on off switch with the 2 girls I was dealing with. Unprofessional and left me feeling like I could not trust them as they were either being false or genuinely bi polar.

In a related point, I was given advice to make an offer on a property before I was in a position to proceed as I was awaiting an offer on my own place. Unsurprisingly, this was rejected and then I was told I should not have done this in the first place. This is another example of the swings in attitude and advice I was given. I am sure this was simply done to demonstrate to the vendor that there was genuine interest out in the market, but left me feeling like a guinea pig!

My sister is an estate agent and told me Romans are one of the best in the industry, and they do seem to be on their game; but that is the issue, I felt like I was a pawn in their games.

I would not use Romans for my sale when the time comes as I wouldnt want to deal with these sorts of people.
