Sydney Buildings is one of Bath's most sought after addresses due to its quiet location within easy reach of the City, perfectly positioned on the lower slopes off Bathwick Hill.

This semi-detached home is a great example of a Grade II listed Georgian townhouse sat perfectly between National Trust's Bathwick Meadow and Avon & Kennet Canal.

The house, set over three floors, is entered on the ground floor which welcomes you into a wide entrance hallway with stone flooring and a stone cantilever staircase leading to the first floor. The master bedroom, with beautiful custom built in wardrobes, is situated on this floor overlooking the garden and the beautiful city views beyond. There is also one of four bathrooms on this floor, with a WC, basin and walk in shower.

The first floor consists of two further double bedrooms, also with custom built ins and two further bathrooms. One family bathroom with a freestanding roll top bath, WC and double basin vanity and one with a large walk in shower, basin and WC. From this floor you get an excellent view of the rolling green hills of Baths Alexandra Park and the church spire of Victorian church, St John The Evangelists, which backs onto the River Avon.

The lower ground floor level opens up to the extensive garden and comprises a large kitchen diner to the front of the house and a cosy sitting room with wood burning stove to the rear. Beautifully light floor to ceiling sash windows and French doors welcome you onto a patio perfect for hosting. The kitchen has been updated with modern shaker style cabinets and a marble worktop. There is a large stainless steel sink, induction hob and double oven. White goods include tall fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Since this is a short term let, the kitchen will come fully equipped for your use. This family room also has a large dining table and a comfortable sofa next to the original open fire place.

The fourth bedroom is located in the annex, which is accessed via the garden but attached to the main house. The single bedroom would also make a great home office. It benefits from it's own shower room with WC and basin.

There is an additional WC located next to the back door on this floor too.

The home is situated between Bathwick and Widcombe, with the fabulous array of local amenities on Widcombe Parade and Bathwick Hill just a short walk away. The city centre is also a short walk with Bath Spa Train station just a 16 minute stroll.
