I recently moved out of a rental property managed by Romans after the end of a longterm relationship.
On the more negative side, their accounts system didn't seem well equipped to deal with residents changing at a property mid tenancy- my ex kept on receiving automated messages from an automated system for months after they were removed from our rental contract. There was also an odd occurance where a bank payment failed to go through, and the accounts team went straight to contacting a guarentor instead of any resident at the property- quite frustrating to never get an answer on why that happened.
However, I've got no end of good things to say about Denise Hurn, the property manager of the flat for the entire time either of us were there. She was always polite, professional, and helpful- both with regular maintenance queries and when it came to the challenges that came with removing my ex from our contract. She was also extremely helpful when it came to navigating the occasional accounts hiccups mentioned above. If Denise was the only factor to consider, this would definitely have been a 5-star review.
