We sold our house through Romans and had the absolute pleasure of working with Jay Fennell. He may come across young compared to us, but don’t let that fool you — his professionalism, confidence, and knowledge of the property market are exceptional. We even requested that he be the one to conduct the viewings because the way he presented our house never felt like a sales pitch, it felt like he was selling 'his own' home, with pride, care, and sincerity. On the rare occasions he wasn’t available, he always contacted us well in advance, giving us plenty of time to decide what we wanted to do. Throughout the process, Jay gave us sensible, honest advice and was incredibly patient. During the period when we struggled to find a property we liked, I often called him for a little moan, and he always listened, talked us through our options, and helped us reflect, even though that wasn’t technically part of his job. His support genuinely made a stressful time feel manageable. We always received timely feedback after viewings, and he showed great respect for our home at every stage. We also appreciated that he remembered our working hours and only called when he knew we were available - a small detail, but it shows how attentive he is. Let’s be honest: during the sale we were approached by many other estate agents, and most of them felt far too salesy for our liking. Jay stood out because he is genuine, grounded, and truly cares. At the end of the day, we were selling a home we had pride in, and he matched that pride every step of the way. We strongly recommend Jay. In fact, Romans should give him a pay rise - he’s an absolute asset to the team.
