We have been searching for somewhere to live since October, and it has been one of the most stressful periods of our lives. Many letting agents made me feel guilty for being self‑employed, and after applying for so many properties, we were never chosen. With our no‑fault eviction date getting closer, we were running out of time and hope. We viewed a house with Matthew, who was absolutely delightful from the start. We put an offer in straight away, and after explaining our situation, he was understanding, reassuring, and didn’t make us feel like our circumstances were a problem. For the first time in months, we felt like someone was actually on our side. We’ve now passed referencing and will be moving into our new home at the end of the month. We couldn’t be happier. I would highly recommend Romans, and especially Matthew. We can’t thank them enough for helping us find somewhere to live in this frankly horrible rental climate.
