As a landlord, there is no other place to do business than with Ben Chapman and the Roman's team. Before I began to write this review, I've had a look at the other reviews and honestly, I feel as if this review will be the same as the others: praising Ben Chapman. My father is a large property portfolio landlord who's previously had nightmare experiences with renting agencies. As a result, I'd decided to take over management of all of his properties and utilise rental agents for their tenant find service. I had initially decided to go with a different rental agent, Chappel and Matthews. I was amazed at how large their team was, believing it would correlate to a great service. However, before signing with Chappel and Matthews, I remembered I had booked Roman's clifton to come and do a viewing at my father's 11-bed HMO so I'd at least offer the courtesy for Roman's to view before signing with Chappel and Matthews. Importantly, my father was also set on Chappel and Matthes. I'm very glad however we changed our mind and settled on Roman's ! This was probably the single-best business decision I have ever made. Ben Chapman from Roman's was responsible for visiting the property and instantly, his robust equilibrium of a personal, yet highly proffesional approach stood out to myself. His comprehensive knowledge of the bristol rental market and his extensive experience in the letting's business made me feel confident in not only utilising Roman's tenant find service, but also handing over comprehensive management to Ben Chapman himself. This was the greatest decision I have ever made. Before committing to the large 11-bed HMO, I handed over management of another 4-bedroom property in Easton I own. This was a management transfer and the occupying tenants had a history of not paying their rent. Starkingly, as soon as Ben Chapman took over, there has been 0 missed payments and payments have always been made on time. This filled me with further confidence to transfer comprehensive management of the 11-bed HMO to Ben Chapman. The job that he's done is unbelievable. One thing I can not mention enough with Ben is his ability to give you realistic, honest expectations however consistently delivering far above. There's countless examples which come to mind where Ben has done far more favours for myself than the role he is paid for. Honestly, for a landlord based in Bristol, if you are not with Ben Chapman and the team at Roman's, I honestly feel you're missing out massively. This is the place to be. The team are of great size. They're not too large which means they will value you and not forget about you. If you have the pleasure of dealing with Ben, believe me it is a privilege to work with him and he genuinely will look after you. !

We used Romans to let our house out and I highly recommend them. Ben was very professional and a pleasure to deal with. He was quick to get the ball rolling, responsive and really went above and beyond - even responding to messages out-of-hours when he didn't need to. We initially chose a different letting agent that failed to follow up or respond to us on multiple occasions which led to us switching to Romans, and I'm glad we did. We will definitely be using them in the future.
